DentSafe Air™ Dental Air Purification

Dental Professionals face airborne dangers that masks, filters, and suction tubes alone can’t protect you from.

High-speed dental tools send dangerous particles airborne

High-speed dental tools send dangerous particles airborne

Mercury, one of the most lethal elements in our environment, becomes vaporous when high speed drills are used on amalgam fillings. These mercury vapors are easily inhaled by patients and professionals alike. Pathogens such as bacteria and virus infected microorganisms become airborne naturally and through the use of dental tools.

Our technology has been endorsed by members of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology for use in dental suites. The DentSafe Air™ Purification System has demonstrated the ability to quickly remove harmful mercury vapor and amalgam particles from the air.

The patented DentSafe Air™ technology uses the fundamental electrical nature of all organisms to collect airborne contaminants with greater efficiency than mechanical systems. Independent laboratory tests have shown this system to be more than 99.999994% effective at killing such bacteria as listeria monocytogenes, bacillus thuringensis, staphylococcus aureus, and E-coli. Microorganisms are rendered dead within 1/100th of a second.

no alive microorganisms…it seems that microorganisms explode and disintegrate themselves when touching the positive collector.

How It Works

DentSafe Air™ uses a unique two-part system of a negative ion generator and a separate set of positively charged collectors. Negatively charged ions flood the room. Positively charged collectors instantly draw dangerous airborne contaminants to the collector, away from people. The result is effective removal of airborne contaminants.

DentSafe Air™ is designed to maximize protection around patient and staff

The Ion Generator is typically positioned over the head of the dental chair and collectors are over the feet. This maximizes ions over the patient’s head and around the staff and draws contaminants away from people, to the overhead collectors.
